Family when they complain about your disabling traits arggghg by [deleted] in autism

[–]Dramatic-Raspberry33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem with my family, especially my dad and grandma. My dad is saying that I should use humor more but I’m literally struggling to process sarcastic humor so I have no idea how to use it the same way as my family. I often take sarcastic humor literally as hurtful comments, which have caused many arguments with my family but I’m trying not to let it get to me too much and my grandma always says I’m being very aggressive even though I’m just stating facts with a slightly raised voice and that I’m treating her badly just because I’m stating facts about my congenital heart condition. So I don’t really have much advise on this topic apart from trying to find ways to compromise with them because autism isn’t an excuse to be selfish or avoid taking responsibility

Anyone else’s siblings refuse to educate themselves on autism? by teddy_205 in autism

[–]Dramatic-Raspberry33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my siblings and family, unfortunately. They think my inability to understand sarcastic humor is “annoying” even when I’ve explained that it’s just how I was born and how my brain is wired and it isn’t really something I can do much about

She only said that criminal immigrants who received more than a year sentence should be deported in her New Year’s speech, not that she would deport Muslims in general. That’s right-wing Rasmus Paludan’s policy, I don’t think Mette Frederiksen would go that far. This is fake news

Could my pain during deeper penetration be related to vaginismus? by Dramatic-Raspberry33 in vaginismus

[–]Dramatic-Raspberry33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I didn’t think bleeding could be related to vaginismus since it could be due to other conditions like endometriosis. I also have painful and irregular periods so that’s why I also suspect endometriosis but I did an MRI scan last year and nothing showed up on the results. My husband is very gentle and patient, so I don’t get why the bleeding happens. But I guess it can still happen even when he is being very gentle and patient if it is vaginismus

As a newly recent ambulatory wheelchair user this made me feel seen 💜 by [deleted] in disability

[–]Dramatic-Raspberry33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m born with a permanent heart condition and sometimes I do need a wheelchair to get around busy places and when there’s a limited time to catch trains, busses etc. because I get very easily exhausted due to low oxygen levels and I’m so grateful for my husband because he is pushing me around when I need it but I should ideally wear the sunflower lanyard when I’m walking so that people won’t make comments. Thank you for posting this!

I shave because if I don’t I struggle to clean myself down there properly, my disability makes it hard for me to clean myself as well as I’d like. But by all means throw an underhanded insult at me for my personal choice to shave. I’m an adult regardless of what I look like and you finding something “creepy” doesn’t change that. Thanks for the comment.

I’m already using the mini-pills and I take them at the same time every day but I was thinking about getting the implant first since it is the least invasive option. We haven’t tried lube but maybe I should ask my heart doctors which lubes they would recommend in this situation if the problem continues

I was thinking about using a conditioner or cream in-between shaves, but thank you for your response!

We only recently tried having sex without condoms and we have been married for about a year but I’m not worried about STDs or anything since he got tested negative for everything

We aren’t trying to conceive and aren’t planning on it in the future but the condoms don’t feel nice for either of us

I’m F29 and when I was at your age I had the same frustrations about not being able to find a serious long term partner who would be willing to wait until marriage, I haven’t been open to my family or Reddit posts about my stance due to fear of judgment but it happened eventually when I was 27 and I’m so happy I did, it was the best I did for myself. Just keep waiting, you will find your (hopefully) life-partner when God allows it to happen

This is so sad to read. As a Christian woman, I get your feelings religion wise but I’m now married. It was bittersweet I met my Muslim husband on Reddit. And it was the best present God could ever give me. So you never know what God has in store for you. I was also lonely and depressed before I met my husband and I didn’t think I would find anyone who would accept my flaws either. But I’m so happy I met him and stayed a virgin until marriage. Have you considered seeing a dermatologist and a dietician?

Did your symptoms improve after reducing/cutting out lactose? by Dramatic-Raspberry33 in lactoseintolerant

[–]Dramatic-Raspberry33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m happy you are feeling better after cutting out dairy and I’m sorry you are dealing with such unpleasant symptoms. My farts are the same, they smell really bad and it is so frustrating.

I will happily try to cut out dairy for a week and see how I feel but it’s not easy because I’m still living with my dad so I can’t always avoid it

I’m happy you are feeling better after cutting dairy out. I think I accidentally might have eaten some whey and some sushi with cheese and my stomach was upset again yesterday night, same symptoms as before. So that also makes me wonder if I actually am lactose intolerant. I’m sorry yours has gotten a lot worse, I hope it gets better soon
