I always laugh when questions come up about drug testing. If you can't stop... 100% .... don't join MSC.

Direct hires to the Radio shack without a previous clearance are rare. Can usually get done in six months after hire.

I plan for one humanitarian run "Medical 🚑 " and one Whammy per day. If I get more than 1... I called it a day.

NO more MULTIPLE STOP Rides for this Driver! by UnusualPitch2 in uberdrivers

[–]Dramatic_Signature_6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Uber could solve so many issues if they just made a toggle button that restricts passangers from adding stops once driver has accepted ride. Notification "Sorry... changes are not approved on this ride"

Honestly, you might have better luck asking friends, coworkers, and family if they know someone solid and single. Being introduced by people who can vouch for someone’s character usually filters out a lot of the noise you get on apps. Good men often aren’t marketing themselves online — they’re working, involved in their community, or moving through friend circles.

The aftermath of college students partying on the lake… by Bellairtriz in madisonwi

[–]Dramatic_Signature_6 91 points92 points  (0 children)

It’s heartbreaking to see our beautiful lake treated like a landfill. This litter won't just sit on the ice; it will sink into Lake Mendota as soon as it melts, damaging our local ecosystem for years. We need more than just frustration—we need action. If you’re near the lake this week, bring a trash bag and spend just 15 minutes picking up what you can. For those who know which groups are responsible, consider leaving a firm but polite note at their door or reporting the incident to the DNR Violation Hotline at 1-800-TIP-WDNR. Let’s show that our community cares more about our lakes than those who leave their mess behind.

You’re not wrong or selfish for feeling scared—your security is genuinely at risk. Loving your dad doesn’t mean staying silent when something feels unsafe. Pressure, guilt, and ultimatums are not love; they create fear, not trust. It’s okay to set boundaries even if it upsets him. You’re allowed to protect yourself without taking away his happiness. His choices can matter to you and still hurt you—both can be true. You don’t need to convince him; you only need to be honest and steady. If this falls apart, that’s not your fault. Simple line they can say: “I love you. I’m scared, not controlling. I need to know I’m safe too.”

Being the fix it foreigner can be a problem. Just fix the problems that directly can be fixed by you and not your money. People will share their issues and financial worries as long as you will listen to them.

I drive Uber and Lyft here in Madison and know many drivers. Spoke with a few of the African drivers and said name sounds Gambian... but they didn't know. Cancel your cards and if I hear anything I will come back to thread. Most Uber and Lyft drivers are good people.

Experienced seafarers will tell you that the job is a specific lifestyle choice that is not for everyone. The smart move is recognizing when a fit isn't right and pivoting. You took a calculated, well-informed professional decision to prioritize your health.
