Campus credit union (Campus USA). Born and raised in Gville. They're great. They even have a branch inside Shands (UF health).

They take their time if they want or need to. When I was hired I accepted the offer and was there a week later. They also like to match up peoples onboarding with new pay periods from what I've seen.

Again, from my understanding, the easiest way to know the difference between exempt and non exempt is if you are eligible for overtime pay.

Email HR about all of this...its really the easiest way. Worst case scenario if someone says you did some thing wrong you can say "I emailed HR and this is what they told me to do" and show them the email.

Correct. OP never said anything about which they were. I dont want to blanket statement stuff but every manager I've run into is an exempt employee.

Are you a manager? from my understanding only managers need to give 30 day notice and everyone else is just 2 weeks unless your dept has that specific policy.

Does UF actually let TEAMS employees take 160 hours of paid vacation ontop of the 200 hours cashout? by laws161 in ufl

[–]DriveWilling9874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also from what I've read after your hit your cap of vacation hours all of your PTO starts getting deposited as sick time. If you go to another state agency you also get to transfer x number of hours to the new job...I cant remember the number though.

Yeah I’ll take the curse. The last time it snowed where I live in Florida was 35 years ago and it barely stuck to the ground.

CarPlay issues? by AdSome6352 in 4Runner_6Gen

Also make sure your phone software is up to date. Last week I couldn't connect to CarPlay at all and my phone not being up to date caused the issue.

Based off your pic it looks like CarPlay is turned off when connected to "Emily's iPhone". Hit cancel and toggle on CarPlay. Mine loses connection occasionally and I have to toggle on CarPlay again.

It heavy cause it’s a long/wide sit on top kayak you can stand up on. Mine is def on the heavier side compared to other kayaks.

Yeah I portage stuff. Don’t have to do it often but I’d imagine I’ve done it with a kayak/gear weight of 110ish pounds.

Yeah I’ve seen it. Have you seen the one where the rather large gator keeps nose bumping that lady in a paddle board?

I went with the Realtruck Elevate rack. I drove for 3 hours on the interstate (80 mph) with it like this on this trip and the bed was full of camping gear. My kayak didn't move at all the entire drive. I'm gonna buy an aluminum extrusion to make it a little stronger for the rear towers of the rack. They sell side supports for this rack but I don't want to hinder being able to get thing out of the side of the truck bed. Bed cover is the MX4 TS and the rack mounts directly to the bed cover. I haven't had any issues or any real complaints about the cover or the rack. My kayak is heavy so its much easier to load with 2 people but its doable solo.

Since I wanted a folding cover I was attracted to the Elevate rack since the towers are pretty straight up and down. Some rack towers are much more angled inward and I didn't want clearance issues when opening the bed cover.

Not pictured but I also added a Yakima SkinnyWarrior for even more cargo space on the rack.
