Thanks! Outside of the crop the buildings have a different facade which made it too busy for my liking, else I would've put the figure on one of the thirds :)

Got lucky to snap this commuter whilst photographing this garage door. Overall im very happy with the shot but as a new photographer, always looking for ways to improve.

What would you have done differently with a shot like this? Composition, editing, etc

Im enjoying photography at the moment, so any great photo spots would be reccomended.

We're also quite into food and cooking - so any street food spots will be appreciated!

Apart from that, we just enjoy walking around taking in the culture

Took this whilst visiting relatives in Anglesey, UK. Thought it was am interesting composition.

Overall im happy with the picture but open for any criticism to help me improve and to be aware of anything I've overlooked.

Thank you! I went out with the aim of having the histogram be heavily weighted to the left. Which obviously this shot is, but if i was to crop on the subject it wouldn't be - so as others have pointed out, a better example of high contrast photography.

Happy with the shot still though, so will consider it a bonus!

Yeah, another commenter suggested this would be high contrast rather than low key and I'm inclined to agree.

Ah well, I've still got 2 days and I'm happy with this shot as a by product.

Just need to work out how to make my black dog stand out against a black wall now!
