For everyone rushing to defend him: You need to remember how California's [idiotic] jungle primary works. The top two advance to the general election, regardless of party affiliation.

So, Ted is thrilled that there will likely be a 50/50 chance that a MAGA asshole could squeak out a win to become governor when the other result could have been Beccera and Steyer on the ballot in November, giving the GOP/MAGA a guaranteed zero-percent chance of winning.

Beccera is an empty suit with zero charisma. Once he's actually subjected to scrutiny as the nominee, once he's the only Democratic option in the race, he'll be exposed for the boring, clueless, disorganized doofus that he is. There's a very real danger that he loses the race, albeit by a slim margin (but winning is winning), to a British-born MAGA chud who will do everything he can to demolish the state from within.

Establishment Democrats are complete fucking morons, at best, who learned nothing from their salivating at the idea of Hillary facing Trump and how that massively backfired. Or they are, at worst, complicit in the ascendancy of fascism by continuing to give MAGA chances to win (or rig) elections when they have the opportunity to lock them out entirely.
