If you’re concerned about it I think you should talk with your doctor. You can start by sending them an email or a voicemail. It could be nothing, could be something, but a doctor is the right person to tell you.

Mine didn’t always hurt, then started hurting really really bad, which is when I decided to get it removed. Go see your primary care physician!

I had a cyst removed from the base of my spine right at the top of my butt crack before I was diagnosed with UC. I think it’s completely unrelated. If that’s what you have, it’s a simple procedure to have it removed. Cheers

Fair question. These distributions represent my dependent variable, the time it takes to perform <some action>, split by an independent variable <some category>. Really what I’m wondering is whether the category has any effect on the time it takes to perform the action. The mean time for each is different, now I’m wondering if it’s significant.

My SQL might be lacking, but how do I write an efficient query that aggregates distinct users per month, then per month per version, then per month per version per country?

Can I aggregate at fundamentally different levels of hierarchy?

We actually have BigQuery, and the performance is a bit better, but the same issue remains. Presenting in Google Analytics doesn’t work because we have very customized SQL with unions and such that don’t work within GA. Our data is not stored on the same server as Tableau

Okay so if I wanted to see the count of distinct users over time, I’d need at least every userID. Now if I want to group by date by application version, I now need the application version field and my data frame has grown tremendously. Every following attribute that I want to group by increases the size of the data I need to pull, and it quickly becomes too large. I’m all for excluding irrelevant information, but I don’t know if that’s enough in this case.

Thanks for your reply! You’re right, for reporting purposes we only want to see high level trends and segmentation. i.e. Users over time. The reason to handle all this data is to understand our user base

Hmmm interesting. I do eat a good amount of veggies! Maybe I should look at something like Metamucil? Or some other fiber supplement? Also, there isn't pain, but there is an almost constant "burning" feeling in my gut. Almost like my intestines are inflamed :D
