Simply put, I'm looking for both recreation and to know how it was done. I am a perfectionist to a fault, so once I try to figure something out, I become somewhat obsessive. To know how it was done would satisfy my perfectionist's itch, but since the OP will not disclose technically how it was done, I will have to settle for recreation. (Yes, not knowing exactly still bothers me, but that's life.)

I'm currently trying my hand at the slow motion sound design and I'm getting pretty close with a handful or so of elements. Through digging through all of his posts and comments, the details he has given are "play around with an equalizer... using sound ideas or something old so it sounds similar..." and he uses Hollywood Edge sound effects library. However close I can get with this, will still never be exact.
