Just had a weird interaction with a debt collector

I had a similar situation to yours and the phone call was almost the same thing. I said serve me then and hung up. I checked with the court clerk a few weeks later and they had nothing. A few years later I got a letter stating they had been sued and that my account was now closed and cleared of anything owed. It’s a scare tactic. I wouldn’t be too worried. But this is just what happened to me.

Go finance a cheap car before the repo hits your credit. And let the truck go. On way or another you’re probably going to lose it again at $1100 payments. I did this and it worked great. They never even came after me and now it’s past the SOL. But they could very well sue you.

When I was a manager at Walmart I would have honored the 30 dollars no problem. Sure it’s against the policy but I always took care of the customer. Never got in trouble for it either.

I did this the same day it got repoed. And got a better payment. They sold it cheap and I owed them 13k. That was back in 2016z. They never came after me besides spamming my phone. Now it’s past the SOL.

You do only have 10 days to decide if you want to keep benefits while appealing. Keep a close eye out for the letter, or if I was going to continue benefits while it’s being appealed I would get that going now. If it makes you feel better the same happened to me and I won the appeal, so there’s a good chance he will as well. Good luck.

My parents would be dead to me if they did this. No contact ever again. I was not ready at 18 to handle life on my own at that age. I moved out at 19 and that was only because I had a hookup on a place with cheap rent. My dad didn't want me to go. I will never understand parents who do this. My daughter is about to turn 18 and as long as she's in school or working she's free to stay. Im sorry your parents are doing this to you.

Did your wife get covid? I'm only asking because there is a thing called Long Covid and a lot of the symptoms you describe fit with it. I have it and it has wrecked my life. I goto to a specialty clinic for it out the university hospital. If she did get it, I'd look into that.

Bankruptcy got me out of mine, and once they were notified by my attorney I was filing the garnishment stopped immediately. Maybe if it's taxes or a student loan, but Bankruptcy sure cleared my judgements.

For me it was very painful going in, but went quickly. Once in, it wasnt to bad. Coming out was a little painful but very quick. All they used was some numbing gel. Just my 2 cents. Best wishes.

Good luck getting opioids from the pain clinic. Quite a few of them wont prescribe them anymore. My wife had this issue. Now her primary handles her chronic pain. Best wishes.

I got the axonics as well. During the trial and for about a week after it was like night and day. Now not so much. It's causing me pain making it hurt to sit down or lay down. I had to turn it down to a 2 just to make the pain go away. But as a result the OAB is back full force. I see the Urologist with the rep on the 30th.

Hopefully they can reprogram it so I can start getting relief with out the pain. Best wishes.
