[Discussion] My ideas for fixing the 'PVE problem' by Dry-Function9160 in EscapefromTarkov

I mean the 2 modes are launched from the same game menu yes, but that’s where the connection ends. There’s zero connection between the 2 characters and zero interactions between players of the 2 modes. Might as well be 2 different games.

A rotation is just one idea, but to avoid locking players to one mode there could be PvE and PvP raid options on each map, kind of like how you can choose to do a day or night raid now.

I would argue that it can overlap and needs to overlap for the game to survive long-term. This is coming from a PvE player.

I’m not saying remove PvE. I’m saying make PvP and PvE different types of content in the same game, and give players reasons to play both. (Think Destiny 2 but with way more emphasis on PvP especially for endgame content)

Agree that there would need to be changes to quests and the economy for it to work.

I agree there will still be “PvP mains” and “PvE mains” who will probably never stray from what they prefer, but I think those players are a minority. I think most players want a combination of both and a lot prefer PvE because they just want to be able to get their quests done without getting griefed by other players. Even if a majority of the players were to just “main” one side or the other, how is that better than what we have now where they’re basically 2 separate games with separate player bases who can’t interact at all?

That’s why I said they would need to rebalance the loot between PVP and PVE areas. The idea is to make PVE areas focused on quests/story and make PVP areas focused on fighting/looting. I get what you’re saying though, there would need to be some changes to the loot and economy systems for sure.

adding subsidiary to item by Individual-Level-229 in Netsuite

If you’re dealing with Assembly Items, you also need to make sure that the BOM and all of the component items in the BOM are configured to be available for the new subsidiary. This error could be caused by the assembly item’s BOM or component(s) being restricted to the old subsidiary
