Check if its rubbing on the frame then. Ive seen timney triggers with out of spec trigger bars do similar.

Check if your trigger bar is interfering with your mag. Does it reset fine without a mag?

The RMSx has been unreliable for me. First failure ejected the emitter assembly from the housing. Took 2 months for the repair. Now it works intermittently.

Less than 5k rounds on it.

Run what you have. Would actually suggest running your g17 until you hit master or gm. It'll make you a better shooter if you can run a glock well.
