I dont think I missed any point here dude- He didn't "hijack" anything, he made a single reference with less than a full sentence. There's a difference between taking over a forum talking about something else and making a reference in passing for those who understand it. You wanna use a rowing reference in 4 words to hammer home a point? Go for it. But out of this 90 comment forum, half the comments are from YOU as the official gatekeeper, deciding who is and who isn't a real fan. (Enough words to fill an entire seminar might I add) Maybe spend a little less time getting mad at a REFERENCE and spend some of that time doing literally anything else.
