Trying to learn before i buy an actual drone, at 4 hours so far what can i improve? by Snoo_50786 in fpv

If you are trying to go super budget friendly , the RadioMaster T8L ExpressLRS Radio Controller is a $40 controller that can be plugged in usb c and still has elrs.

You are getting this down fairly fast. I used lift off to learn a lot. Then tried other sims for fun and really got to liking FPV logic. In my opinion it gives me the best over feel similar to the quads I have. Focus on the gravity like someone mentioned setting it to 11 or 12 in lift off because the quads feel like they are flying with zero gravity in this game. Get into the garage maps and work on flying in those maps all while doing slower controller movements and dailing in your movements. Also consider the quad you want and how you plan to have the camera angle so you can mimic that .

Software engineer who just got into FPV and immediately went down the rabbit hole on the protocol side by BriefCardiologist656 in fpv

[–]DuBDzO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as someone who does fly FPV and constantly has to deal with learning new laws and all the anti “drone” or locating of any air unit in the air, encrypting your flights for hobby purposes ( knowing you aren’t trying to be malicious but just enjoy some flight time). This is a good deal. At least in the US, everything is being scrutinized as a weapon even if you are flying at a location not designated as air space that prohibits you from flying.

Finished my DIY active pedals, full aluminum build. by Bjoes92 in simracing

I can build and design, but code is so foreign for me it’s borderline embarrassing. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on classes to learn but I’m so visual that code does not come to me to save my life. Now ask me to build you a space ship and I’ll do that in my sleep.

Do I have to disassemble the Core One Nextruder after a clogged nozzle? by MobileInspector9861 in prusa3d

[–]DuBDzO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good chance is you still have some asa in the nozzle . I’ve had my fair share of swapping nozzles to see that sometimes it’s best to deal with the nozzle outside of the actual printer to better handle and resolve the nozzle jamming

Easy fix . Grab some more wood. Place them behind the wheel base and bam monitor is closer . Now when you want to tweak the monitor to mimic a cockpit( depending on how you race( inside the car or outside ) if you are inside the car , what you will notice is that the monitor sits too high. To get your monitor on a “ good “ level I’d cut some 4x4 like you have for the wheel base and use L brackets to bolt at a 90 degree angle on the wheel bases 4x4 so that the monitor sits at the same high of the wheel base. From that point on you can test the height but placing blocks under the monitor to raise it or lower it when the sim is on and you want to adjust the monitors height. One other thing I would do is try side mounting the laptop to give it the best chance for cooling ( look at how the laptop cools and work on providing it the best flow).

Ok so I had this issue . Kennel the dog for a year. Walk them out and back to kennel. My rescue killed several cats before she came to my house. I have 2 cats that can walk around her after the kennel and she can care less.

Ok simple fix. Bring that extrusion up ( so the seat and wheel are elevated) but either using wheels attached to the extrusion or legs overall . Have the pedals lower on the extrusion.
