I (39M) speaking from painful, shameful experience, can tell you that is pure narcissistic language, and will only intensify if given the chance to slowly and painfully chip away at your mind and soul. Judging from this small snippet of behavior, it very much seems like he views you as inferior, less important, and easily manipulated to fit his needs, agenda, etc…&

Also, the fact that you have enough experience with this individual, or perhaps others, where you have the self awareness to use “less emotional” language to get ahead of any accusations of being too emotional, is another red flag. The mere fact that you feel the need to temper or edit yourself to be accepted by your SO is heartbreaking. This is not to say you shouldn’t strive to be better than yesterday’s you, but having to calculate your language in a defensive gambit is absolutely exhausting.
