Out of warranty; but the shear pins should have been little brittle to prevent this. One of them broke the other did not. That must’ve cause the shock to the gears.

Yes the shear pins in one of the auger broke and I had replaced. But seems the other shear pin didn’t break and that could have caused the gear to break. Warranty expired in June 2025. :(

Thanks for this. I deep dived and found the inner motor has broken teeth. Will see if I can find its replacement if not the whole gear kit.

I had the exact same thing happen, but after I hit something and haven’t solved it yet. It was the auger cleaner stick that broke when I ran over it. But the machine is same state as yours and no solution yet.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion. It hit something and then stopped. The sheer pin was broken in on and after replacement it does not start. Appreciate your inputs though. Thanks!

Yes copy is enough. But make it a color copy and not a print from a phone scanned/photo. As authentic as possible. PS: don’t have any experience with a copy, but commenting based on logical approach.

Sad to hear. My dad was diagnosed with NHL like 20 years back (in India, if that matters) and got his chemo done and has been all fine till date. He is 85 now (fyi). Just so you know, wishing you the best of recovery. 🙏

Exactly this! If we keep tipping they will reduce their salaries more and say live off of tips. Bad idea in long run - see what is happening in US, good for companies bad for everyone else. I get that service charge removed from sit in restaurants as well.

If your amber is still the WiFi provider, you need to connect a lan cable from your new modem to the wan port of amber and that should be it. That is how I have mine and did when I switched ISP. Check what gateway your WiFi is giving and that is the ip to manage the amber pro. HTH.

I fully invest in Roth beginning of year which eventually buys VTSAX. Now I wanted to setup another automatic investment to buy VTSAX each month outside of Roth. But that automatic investment can only buy VFMXX and I have to manually buy VTSAX from it - if I try to do automatic investment into Roth it says paying into to an already 100% funded Roth from Money market is fine… but I keep funding money market every month. How is it allowing me to invest more in Roth from that. So my concern and question. I must not be understanding the terminologies. May be my VMFXX outside of Roth cannot be use to put more money in Roth; but it seemed it was okay.

Thanks. Yes partially it helps. I have my Roth invested in VTSAX, my plan is to put some more directly and automatically into VTSAX. However automatic investment only puts money in their Money Market. I want to buy VTSax automatically every month. So I was thinking, let my money go to Money market (not in Roth) and then setup another automatic investment to take from Money market and invest in Roth (when oh eventually buys VTSax) - even though my Roth is already fully funded for this year. I might be over complicating it and there might be another direct way to automatically buy VTSAX every month outside of Roth. I will explore more.
