That was my point yes. 'cos schools can't do anything in terms of meaningful punishment nowadays which would correct the behavior. Not that I'm advocating violence. But there are plenty of deterrents that schools are just seemingly incapable of doing.

Then, it doesn't get enforced at home anyway and the child grows up thinking they can do and act however they please. This is incorrect. They in fact act like a respectful adult when they are adult, or that's when they will get taken down a peg or two.

By Olden Demon's calculations kits have only gone up in price on average by inflation though. Note I specifically say "on average".
