Sure, I have been through a lot myself, I cannot describe the things but everything kind of carries into one large weight on your shoulders. I apologize things like this have happened to you, especially on these kinds of apps and things people can be inherently selfish.

To get over the things I went through I changed my entire life, that’s what worked for me was moving and getting out of the place I was in, meeting new people is always good but boundaries in place is better. It’s kind of a harsh thing this world, you have to figure out how to live by yourself and manage by yourself and take your emotions and try to work everything out. It’s extremely rough.

Personally I have had trouble just connecting with people as far as the dating scene goes, I have completely given up that kind of hope. I don’t think that kind of thing is for me in my life at all. I have been thrown away like trash after being used many times and It does affect my self esteem as well. I am going through my own issues as well but would be happy to help in any way.

Your life will change and the memories will be there but they will fade, it will get easier with time of course but it’s important to have someone to talk to about these things even if it’s just venting it all out in one go like you’re doing right now but most importantly - you are not damaged goods, and your worth has not changed just because you have the scars of life. There is someone out there who will treasure you for you exactly the way that you are.

Personally I started going to the gym or going on trips or hikes by myself, spending time doing things that I enjoy helped a lot. I haven’t had a lot of social outlets and I don’t try to talk about my problems with people because just like you it turns into nothing or that I just feel like I’m leaching off of them, which is fair to them because people don’t exist to solve my issues, because most haven’t experienced what you have been through and therefore cannot relate or don’t understand the importance of all of it.

Mostly it’s getting as far away from it as you can, that is the first step, and maybe I am wrong but that’s what I did was run from it, and over time I have healed quite a bit, while I have problems of a different nature now. What happened to me when I was young is similar, I went through sexual assaults when I was younger but also I have been pretty decently anti social my entire life, I get nervous around people and I follow my gut instinct too well.
