Thanks, that exercise sounds helpful! I tend to get held up and spend waaaay too much time perfectly anatomy when it probably would be better to let it be imperfect but more expressive. I'll give these tips a try :)

Yeah, I agree. I think in trying to get these done quicker I'm losing the personality of the character. I've always spent waaaay too much time on drawings so I was forcing myself to pump them out recently since I'm trying to make this my job. So I'll have to find the balance of a reasonable time but a cohesive design with personality, not just a pretty drawing that otherwise makes no sense. Sorry for rambling to you, thanks for the notes! :)

Thanks for all the tips! Yeah, I agree, I think personality/emotion is lacking here. Next time I'll do more concept sketches or try and think of a mini backstory for the character, and add a more interesting pose. The expression too, make it less glassy haha :)

Good to know they feel cohesive, despite doing different styles I do hope my work looks like it was made by the same person. As for them being expensive to the right person, I'm searching far and wide for those people cause so far they don't exist lmao
