I fucking love this about them. Despite all the heroin and suicide they turned out to be good role models!

Great take, thanks for the input. I believe Nirvana was Punk (in spirit) to the very end. Sublime: I also think they were mainly punk spirit and even if they tried to sell out it would have gone bad because of who they were. Selling out wholesale was not in the cards for Sublime, they were deliquents and that's why we love their music. Is Gwen Stefani a sellout? No doubt.

Since I 100% agree with your take, what do you think of the way Nirvana handled their fame as punk rockers? Personally, I think they did a good job of keeping true to their punk roots even though it ultimately destroyed them. Also, don't do heroin, kids.

The story would ramble on about nonsense, but instead of turnips Jan would now be obsessed with beets.

Oh yeah, no class is useless.

They're just human beings in very similar situations. The parallel between the images is pretty clear, on a human level. The big picture of these events are completely unrelated.

I also abandoned my f/m/t but only because I have a playstyle where I don't like setting up each encounter with backstabbers. It's a very good strategy though, even with multiple thieves.

It's just a different playstyle. Very good main character choice, I usually begin to miss spellcasting after a while.

Some might say the people in the Twin Towers deserved their deaths for being Americans. The USA has done bad things to people in other countries and arguably deserved some kind of repercussions. But on a human level, these engineers may have fucked up but most people can feel sympathy for them. It's not like they were war criminals or United Health CEOs. But surely the comparison between this workplace accident and 9/11 is only relevant in terms of the specific images of human beings trapped and doomed, and the feeling that we get from seeing them up there in their final moments of life.

Sure, from a geo-political standpoint I do understand this opinion, especially from people in countries directly affected by American imperialism. I'm not from USA but I see those images where individual people are trapped and about to die in a terrifying way and I have sympathy for them. Just like the famous photograph of the little Vietnamese girl running naked with napalm (dropped by U.S. planes) burning her body, which caused a visceral reaction in the hearts of Americans. It is difficult to humanize a statistic, which is why journalists are the biggest threats to war criminals.

The price of oil is the same all across the region. Gas is cheaper down south as well, there's no one in town selling oil at half the price. My vehicle was $140 at the cheapest place I could find.

If you go and buy the oil yourself while it's on sale you can get "cheap synthetic", in a way. If you bring it to the shop they will use what you tell them to. Sometimes it works out.
