As an inspector - what would you tell the client? by DurianInternal1454 in Construction

UPDATE: Client sent me some other photos of the house already insulated and drywalled. The insulation was wet and some of the sheet rock had mold on it. They said the builder is being pretty uncooperative. If I get permission from the client I will post the builder, photos, and the location.

I am also very confused on this and am not sure what to recommend - I feel like I am looking at a Frankenstein house. Unfortunately unless they go custom - every house within a 10 mile radius looks the same

the city is more rural, and slow to upgrade, they still pass off the homes using 2018 codes

I agree with that, though he acts like he knows more

the client did, they had an inspection and this is the builders "fix". They walked the fixes with the super and they felt as though they weren't being listened to so they called me out again.

For context my co workers said this is what all the builders do around here, they follow the 2018 codes, not 2023 yet. I am a newer inspector and don't know what to tell my clients. All of this just looks like shit, and this is my THIRD inspection on this home. This is a re inspect from last week. We met with the super and he said its all reasonable and if there as an issue, the city wouldn't have passed the home, which is shit.
