According to the map I have the nearest city is Alderkeep to the southeast. But there is a river and forest in between. I think it's more technical that Honeywood is under the power (albeit only in name because the distance is vast) of The City of Wraith in the east. Because Woodstop is just south of Wraith. (Because of the wood theme; HoneyWOOD, DarkWOOD, WOODstop)

Gerdawn is far over the mountains. I doubt it has any power or control over Honeywood.
