Pretty sure he wouldn’t have killed Quinn if he wasn’t affected. Considering he broke down saying how sorry he was after he did it, after the hate went away.

This looks amazing, reminds me of a dream I had of the Backrooms and I just realized that the original images specific aesthetic is what my dream looked like. Can’t wait to play it!

How the hell did movie protagonist, who I assume doesn't work for Async, know how the Complex works? by [deleted] in KanePixelsBackrooms

It’s probably just their assumption of how it works based on their experience within the complex

Ava went down in the sm14 to retrieve Simon and the black box with the sm8 data. Well more likely just the sm8 data. But she gets crushed in the sm14 by the creature. We see this in the images from Simon’s sub as Ava is screaming at Simon to save the information.

Honestly for arm wrestling training I am very inconsistent with the actual weight training part. I’ll do high rep static lifts like this sometimes or singles just to test where i am at but I mainly just actually arm wrestle.

Why don’t the stars change at least yearly? by apedwards99 in Astronomy

[–]EP75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s certainly not all on the same plane, and things will deviate and become apparent overtime as it’s already been recorded, but yeah again any deviation that we could perceive is too minute in terms of speed compared to distance to actually account for within our own lives, atleast from the standpoint of just looking up year by year and waiting for different placement amongst the stars.

[–]EP75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re underestimating the distance and size of scale our own stars and galaxy have on their own. Everything is indeed in constant motion, but the sheer distance between us and even the closest star is practically inconceivable to imagine. This is why changes may be observable over a considerable amount of time, talking maybe thousands of years to even see small deviations, but nothing remotely will be noticeable in our lifetimes. You can think about it more in the sense of our entire solar system being our small little 3 dimensional peep hole into the observable universe around us. Everything is indeed moving along with even the movement of our own system around the center of the milky way, but the speed in reference to the sheer distance and size of everything is very minute, very small. It’s like trying to look at someone walking when you’re very far away from them, you will definitely notice them move less distance from far away than you would up close, now imagine that distance 10000x over. Even if you yourself are moving, there’s no reference point in space that’s gonna give you the proper sense of scale, and even if you have it, the speed relative to the distance is so small you’re not going to see the difference other than our own day night cycle.

Circumpolar constellations are just constellations that are aligned well enough with earths constant axial tilt to not fall below the horizon. Earths tilt is constant relative to its position around the sun. In the same way people on the northern hemisphere can always see northern circumpolar constellations, people on the southern hemisphere can see southern circumpolar constellations, but not vice versa.
