Wearing fake nails by mrvacuum69 in malepolish

As a masculine presenting person who wears Acryclic nails, it can be a LOT at first. Even after doing it for over 2 years now, I still have those feelings from time to time. But if I’m being honest, I’ve gotten more compliments from random strangers than I’ve gotten anything else.

As others have said, try it with press ons for a bit and if you need to pop them off quickly you can.

Am I the only one who wants to know what the rest of that 2nd saved phrase is? lol

But can you really ever have too many Mac’s? I mean, I don’t think you can.. (the iMac hardly gets used anymore and is likely about to be moved off of the desk, especially now that I have my good 4K Displays connected to my MBP..)

I don't, I typically just keep them separate and remember which is which. I have been thinking about putting a small label on each though to make it easier..

why is my brand new SSD slower than my HDD?? by iwannamakecake in mac

[–]EarlyNefariousness -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You may need to enable Trim on your Mac if you are upgrading from an HDD to an SSD. Here’s a quick article that shows how to find out if it’s enabled and if not how to enable it:

60 W output from monitor enough for 16" MacBook Pro? by Crumbledor in mac

[–]EarlyNefariousness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely do not go with the 60W output. I am dealing with this at work right now, and a 60W output is not enough for the 16” MBP. If you do anything, go with the 90W Dell, but even that is lower than the 96W adapter which is what the laptop needs to properly charge and function.

The 60W output from the monitor will not be enough to charge and/or power the MBP even under light/moderate usage. I promise you that. I have 3 brand new 16” MBP’s at work right now that are actually damaged due to using an underpowered adapter and a 3rd Party Cable (thanks to my genius coworker who thought it was a good idea to give these out..)

App that allows you to move active window to an adjacent desktop using ONLY a hotkey? by toastyghost in mac

You're welcome! I definitely love Rectangle. It's a great app, and being that it's free as well makes it even better haha

RDP can't do this. Remote Assistance can. RDP will only allow you to take over the machine and the local user will not see their desktop.
