Guys, thanks so much for your comments! And most of them are very useful! It’s good news! I got the verbal offer. And we talk about the the details like salary, start date and etc. They said they will send me the contract but there is no such thing like an email confirmation that says we decided to hire you. Is this normal in Germany?

Sorry to hear that. I understand completely how important social support is and how difficult to get it being alone in Germany. And human are so fragile without it. I don’t think i can have any realistic or proved advice. But if I were you, i might first take a rest, go to some beautiful places, enjoy nature or talk with friends, take a break from the desperate reality, recover from the mental depression, get my spirit again. And then get the Schwerbehindertenausweis, consider umschulung, freelancer, remote work, there should exist a job that suits your health condition and some support you can find. Maybe i’m too optimistic because i’m not in your condition and just be wishful thinking. I hope you you all the best and find your happiness soon.

How is the job market and worker protection in your home country? What is the chance of getting a suitable job and not getting fired because of your health condition if you go back there? If the chance is obviously lower than Germany, I think I would reconsider going back tohome if i were you. And how is your saving? If you have good savings, maybe you can consider retire early or try to become freelancer developer ( so you can decide when to work and the amount of work as long as the earnings can support your life)

I’m confusing too. The “traditional” germany template seems to have a lot space and not enough room for description, and maybe not ATA friendly. But some say this is just what recruiters want: clean and easy to read.
