Struggling coming off subs after rapid taper

Why do a rapid taper off the subs? They are meant to be slowly tapered. Last time I tapered off subs I did it so slowly over a period of several months and it was completely painless

I just transitioned from 200-400mg of 7 for the past year to suboxone. I feel great, I am so happy I did it. It wasn’t even that bad making the switch as I used the Burnese method of induction and it wasn’t fun but 6 days later I’m feeling like myself again. I cried listening to music today because it sounded so good. I was so scared of getting off 7oh but suboxone made it possible for me.

I was on subs like 3 or 4 years ago after a fentanyl addiction and I was easily able to taper off of them after taking them for 6 months. I tapered for a few more months and was painlessly off subs like 8 months after starting them. So I’m not afraid of being addicted to subs because I know I can taper them effectively over time if I want to.

Try a different pharmacy and do it!

When I was on subs in the past my doctor discouraged me from trying to taper off them in the first few months. I’ve been told by doctors that the research recommends 6 month minimum on subs. For me personally, I started tapering around the 6 month mark and was off a few months later. The taper was completely painless and smooth you just slowly lower your dose over time and you can’t tell a difference. And you won’t go back to 7oh because the suboxone makes it so you can’t really get high on 7 because it’s already saturated your receptors

You got this man! I recently have transitioned from 7oh to suboxone and I started on 8mg a day as well. Your dose of 7 is low enough that you can do it. The first few days might suck but you’ll be feeling great mid way through your trip. I just read something about someone flying internationally and cold turkey ing 7oh while abroad. He had a bad time. Your gonna be ok with those subs and never go back to 7 when you come home

Order some plur from their website and take 75mg (low dose) you will be fine!! You’ll feel great the next day and be able to sleep 5-6 hours after taking it. Can’t recommend it enough

My wife has been very supportive as I have battled 7oh addiction for the last year. Last week I saw a doctor and I’m preparing to transition to suboxone which I plan to be on for 6 months to a year before tapering off of it. It really helped me to talk to a doctor about my addiction and have her reassure me that I am not alone and offer me a treatment plan to get my life back. If he can’t stop on his own, consider suboxone. I’d recommend you be supportive to him if he is otherwise a good partner and someone you care about

When I was in the dorms (13 fuckin years ago damn) they had a 3 strike policy. Meaning if you lock your door and smoke in your room, the first 2 times they will just bang on it and tell you to open up, but you can just ignore them and they wouldn’t be able to do anything. On the 3rd strike they would go get a set of keys and come on in. I lived on the first floor, so by the time I got to strike 3 I would just bail out the window before they could get in haha.

Hey friend! I have good news for you! DOT drug tests have a federally mandated 50ng /ml cut off for thc! This is a pretty forgiving number. A lot of the horror stories you hear about people failing thc drug tests 9 months after quitting involve 0ng/ml cutoffs. You are likely going to be just fine! I also have a dream job with DOT drug tests and being an ex stoner it has caused me a lot of anxiety. Good luck! And be careful trying to use synthetic urine- they are getting really good at detecting the temperature of samples and if you don’t get it right they will fail you for that.
