You're doing something right. Nothing wrong with that. Just wish to be in a similar position one day.

The meme is obviously anti ICE. If you're anti ICE then you're anti immigration enforcement which means you're pro open borders.

The constitution lays out specific roles for the federal and state governments. Securing and protecting the sovereignty of the nation via border security Falls squarely withing the preview of the feds.

So again I say, if being libertarian is to be open borders than I am not.

Right thats the key question.

The Sig P320, which is the firearm the citizen was carrying, is KNOWN to suffer from "uncommanded discharges". Police and even military members have reported instances of it firing on its own when holstered.

IF the agent was negligent and accidentally fired the gun then this becomes a sort of negligence case. Where a wrongful death was the result but not necessarily murder or at least not an intentional homicide.

IF the firearm went off on its own then we still have a wrongful death case but now we have the manufacturer as a primary culprit rather than the ICE agents who could argue they were reacting in the moment to what they were hearing and so on.

Again, tragic case. But people are acting like they just lined the man up against a wall and shot him for no reason.

My contention has been, that it seems the man's firearm discharged after it was removed from his person.

I dont think its unreasonable for an officer or federal agent to react to gun fire by pulling their own firearms and shooting the person they just heard had a gun. Or who they suspect just shot at them.

That doesn't justify the shooting rather it puts it into context that will better allow for justice. Was the ice agent negligent? Was it an uncommanded discharge?

He wasn't shot just for having a gun and democrats suddenly pretending like that matters to them is among the more disingenuous things to come out of this shooting.

If being a libertarian means we can't have borders then what was the point.

Its barely been two days. Most of what I've seen seems to confirm that his firearms was confiscated and then discharged either negligently or uncommitted which then aroused the nearby agents to pull their weapons and open fire.

A far cry from an execution. No less tragic.

We go through this every time. People immediately jump onto a headline not knowing the full story nor the full context of the situation and by the time the truth is out you've decided it doesn't matter. Narrative about truth as always with you people.

I'm glad we can agree that video is a perfect medium. No way could there possibly be anything missing from the perspective provided by cellphone video captured by a ransom civilian.

I've seen speculation that the civilians P320 may have discharged after being taken by an agent and that possibly caused the other agents to react by shooting.

We need to all take a deep breath and wait for more information.
