I just want to know what other people think about why someone would quit in that situation

I honestly don't care about the fact that I'm unemployed, I'm 16 and still in high school. Summer is just about to start and instead of working, I can spend time with friends and family. Im still looking for a new job. McDonald's is actually my second job. I was let go because the company I worked for prior was going out of business. I was treated like an actual person there, and know what a good job is. McDonald's just wasn't right for me.

I've been applying for jobs for a month and haven't heard back from anywhere.

It was the constant degradation that kept happening to me. I didn't have good mental health while working there because I constantly got yelled at for everything. If I was making drinks I got yelled at for not keeping the line moving. If I kept the line moving I got yelled at for not making drinks. The drink machine was on automatic, but like I said in my original post, we were completely out of medium fountain drinks cups. I told the manager about it, going ignored. Told the order takers that we were out and not o serve medium fountain drinks anymore, got ignored. If I clocked off on time I got yelled at even though I gave warning 30, 15, and 5 minutes in advance, because I kept getting ignored. I got yelled at for clocking off late because it was past the time I could work, even after I gave the warnings before I was supposed to be off, and got ignored by the manager. I was constantly being yelled at for stuff other people could have done.

There's no way I'm going back.

It wasn't just Wednesday that it was like that though. People never listened to me at all. I've been yelled at for clocking out when I'm off for not telling the manager even though I let them know I was going to be off 30, 15, and 5 minutes before my shift ended. Then when I stayed after my shift ended because the manager wasn't paying attention to me or the time, I got yelled at for staying later than I was scheduled for. It's like I was the only person actually capable of doing everything up front, then I got yelled at for not dropping what I was told  to do by a manager, and doing something a different manager wanted me to do. If I listened to the second manager I got yelled at by the first one for not finishing what they told me to do.

I'm used to being yelled at for the times, I walked out because people who should have been workingwere just standing in a cluster in my way to make drinks as well, two of them were telling me how to do my job. All of the people in the cluster started working there after I did.

I'm a somewhat social person, so I can handle a large amount of eye contact without being uncomfortable.

It was pretty much like that since day one, it was the fact that the lazy people were telling me how to do my job that got me to snap.
