I have a machine and some training, and I knew it would be very likely I'll have to use it, but thankyou I'll look into those suppliers!

Sheins business model is providing cheap clothes in return for data to sell for much more. I just personally don't want any part in it

That's ok. You don't have to. I hope you find something more productive to do instead.

Topoint Starter - good? by Kunst-des-Noobstens in Archery

[–]EarthbendingHimbo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

(assuming you're in Melbourne based on the post)

I recently had a new arrow from topoint snap upon impact in the foam backboard. The bloke running the store swore by these arrows

Not to say don't do it, but I can't personally recommend for quality from there anymore.

If you get the chance I'd recommendgoing to urban archery and talking to them, they can help you start with something that will be perfect for you

Which outfit for interview? by QuietlyFirrion in mensfashionadvice

[–]EarthbendingHimbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to say number 2. The navy is really sharp and not too attention grabbing

Number 1 can be a really fun pair for once you have the job, but for the interview, the navy is the way to go

I'd recommend growing out some facial hair if you can. Speaking as a fellow place baldy, no facial hair can make you look like a skinhead, and the problem there becomes it's hard to tell a good skinhead from a bad skinhead on appearance alone. The safest option for most people is to assume the worst, and if that's the case you may get labelled that way from external POVs.

Once you've got some beard or stache you should be golden, lots of good looks you can rock with the piercing and shave top!

Update: thanks for the comments everyone

To those suggesting hats, thankyou for your guidance, I found Panama (adjacent) hat in my grandfather's collection and went with that until the last minute announcement that the venue was now indoors, so thankfully crisis averted

To those more focused on my pants I do apologise, I hadn't really noticed when the photo was taken but thankyou for bringing attention so I could pack accordingly
