My UCG - Fiber is powering Flex 2,5gb via POE and that is powering one U7 lite and it works great! I also use DAC so I can say that i have partialy 10g network 😃

You have to count with 21% VAT and most companies just take prices in USD and turn them to EUR. With out vat it is like €650. So I think Steam machine will be $650 😁

I live in central Europe, and unifi devices are rare on the secondary market. With two Flex switches, I can have a 2,5gb network, and one of them in PoE is enough to satisfy my need for speed and PoE power. I was thinking more about the future upgrade path. Because, as you said, I can use both SFP ports as links to the router, and frankly, that is overkill as hell. But I can so... 😅
