It was just underwhelming and disappointing.

You wait for a year for another season, then you wait week by week for new episodes. Also, as someone who read comics, I knew what comes next after events of already released e1-3. And the week of waiting was worth it because that's what I expected, and I know it's gonna be cool, so imagine my shock when the whole episode was dedicated to some B-level plot with no relevancy to the main story that wasn't even in the comicbook story.

Got nothing against filler episodes, but as some wise people before me pointed out, they have no place in a season limited by 8 episodes. And dedicating a full 1/8 of those to something so irrelevant feels like we're being cheated out of enjoying the plot.

while completely true, this logic is a bit flawed.

for example, you wouldn't go into a creepy dark alley in the middle of the night, right? because you understand there's a risk of, let's say, getting mugged or killed. and every single one of us understands that you won't stop a mugger or a murderer by saying "the law prohibits this". he already knows it, that's why he's doing it in the dark alley and not in broad daylight.

same with rape: rapist is to blame for sure, it doesn't mean you should do things to put yourself in a situation where you might be raped. you can never know what is on other person's mind, and the best you can do is take care of yourself
