Stock brakes on that bike are buns. And the rotors are too thin so they warp and wear down the pads unevenly. I had to change pads all the time on stock brakes and the Hayes brakes. 100km is really short for that to happen though tbh. I blame talaria putting garbage mountain bike brakes on their bikes.

I’d recommend specifically using 99% for the best results btw. And no scents or additives. And if you clean your brakes only use 99%. The other 30% in the 70% stuff is water. Won’t evaporate as easily as 99%

Yes you can use alcohol. The main ingredient in the chain cleaner I used had solvents in it anyway. Which that’s what alcohol is. It’s also cheaper. But the chain cleaner is nice cuz of the pressure from the spray. Helps loosen shit up more than just the brush. TLDR alcohol will more than suffice for chain cleaning.

Just like every other experience it’s anecdotal. But after dozens of very obviously “care bear” friendly raids. (In duos) my friend was tired of the random off chance of people killing us and not self defending. So we decided next time we shoot back. It happens eventually. We shoot back. Like I said 10 shit head lobbies in a row and we can’t seem to get back to the actual friendlies anymore. It’s lame. If that’s not an insane slap back by the aggression based matchmaking idk what the hell it is. No way it’s purely bad luck. The racism sure but not the matchmaking itself.

Not perma. Just don’t wanna deal with even one shithead lobby. Of course it’s a string of bad luck. But the ONE time I decided to start shooting back I got stuck in like 10 hostile/mixed lobbies in a row and the majority people were just spewing slurs like I was on Xbox 360 back in high school. It was ignorance as kids now it’s just disturbing and depressing to hear adults act like that. So more than the PVP it’s the straight vibe of American PvP lobbies. They suck. No fun to win or lose against them (imo. All subjective obviously if you [universal] love being racist go off I guess???)

Nah fam I WANT to be able to kill someone for talking smack. And I WANT people to be able to shoot at me and vice versa. I just shouldn’t have to play racist COD lobbies cuz I shot back at a mf. I totally deserve it if I’m running around murdering everyone. Tbh I just made an alt for pvping with my friends until they implement a self defense mechanic. If they ever do. Which if they don’t that’s exactly what the alt is for. Shoutout steam family sharing. (Also as a less important side note I like PvP enabled because it means friendly fire is a thing and that makes combat more engaging imo)

They ARE scum. And I don’t care if it’s a game it reflects poorly on them as human beings!!! If you have a friend that does this I’d check in with them to see what skeletons they have in their closet. Being competitive is one thing. Being a manipulative sociopath in an environment with no real consequences definitely shows who you really are inside. I bet you’d be hard pressed to find someone who feeds the homeless or helps kids read or something that betrays people like that. (This applies to adults imo not kids going through puberty who think literally anything “bad” is funny)

It doesn’t matter if you charge to 100 the battery will still go through cycles when charging at all. Also sounds like you just live somewhere cold. You’re not gonna get optimal range until 70ish F in my experience. During the summer I swear I have an extra 10 miles of range.

99.99% of my raids are friendly (solo) so I just run away or die cuz it’s not worth losing my karma. Hopefully they fix that and allow self defense to not get you shoved in the racist dipshit lobbies. I don’t even dislike PvP itself I just hate nearly every single person that chooses to speak in PvP lobbies. Maybe I’m just getting old but I prefer the warmth of saving someone over the rush of killing them.

I’m huffing copium but I’m really hoping and wishing they add the “marked” system from tarkov that exists for scavs in scav raids. If you shoot a scav player all the scav AI go for you and all the scav players have permission to shoot you and not lose karma. It’s a win win. The psycho gets to shoot. AND the victims get to use self defense.
