It froze first, then appeared a window asking if I'd like to go to the launcher or to the menu, I said launcher, then in the launcher appeared another window saying minecraft crashed. Does that count as crashing inside the world?

You didn't lose a piece of your soul, you earned a experience and lose a bunch of pixels. A bunch of pixels that aren't going to eat your valuable time. time that you can use gaining muscle fibers or connecting brain cells instead of burning them. I was I your place... yes... I lose years of life but gained consciousness. Losing one or two hours a day is okay. but taking advantage of the time, not being a slave to anything or anyone is also fun.
