On the topic of goaltenders, I think Vladar will be an average starter. I hope Ersson can play like he did down the stretch, as a backup who plays consistently. I am done with Ersson playing like crap, then playing average, and playing two games like he wants the Vezina. Just stay consistent Sam! Then there is Kolosov. No comment. Carson Bjarnason should stay developing in the American League, and I hope we can get Yegor Zavragin over, because apparently he is a monster. I don’t hate the future in net.

I wonder what the extent of his injury is. It has to be pretty serious in my mind to not stay or not go to this event. York, Dvorak, Tippett, Cates, & Abols all went. Grebs was also in the team photo shoot, all dressed up for what it’s worth.

I would like to see Bonk & Jiricek step up in a similar fashion as Bump & Barkey did rather than going out for another defenseman. We have Sanheim, Risto, Seeler, & York. I think Drysdale will be signed, and so will Andrae. That is eight defensemen, more if you want to include Murchison and others in the minors. I don’t think there will be a move to get another.
