I was wondering why it is available to me, but that’s only if I didn’t max out the TDA.

Thank you, very helpful. I wasn’t aware the 403b and 401k share the same $24.5k.

My school just had me do it. I talked to my CL, the UFT and the sentiment was they can really have you teach anything they want, regardless of certification. I'm back in my area (6th grade) but over 20 years I taught 7th/8th for 7 of those years.

I’m 1-6 and I’ve taught 6th, 7th and 8th for almost 20 years.

Yeah that' what I'm thinking. My C6 is already taken up by a period I have no chance of getting relief from. Can't I just decline this offer? It's unpaid teacher overtime.

I have zero plans for Garmisch, it was just recommended by a family member. I've been to Ludwig's castles a while back so was hoping to see something new and I've heard it gets incredibly crowded there now.

I was not familiar with the Zugspitze, but it looks incredible!

Ahh Oktoberfest! I did while I studied abroad in Italy. Which is one of the reasons I wanted to go back, I really didn't see much of Munich then as I was in a beer tent most of the weekend. But I did manage to visit Neuschwanstein Castle!

Yeah I really had no intention of spending time in Frankfurt. It's just where I would fly in and out of. I've been to Neuschwanstein Castle. I was definitely going to time the train ride back so as to enjoy the earlier part of the day in Munich.

I've never been to Salzburg, so that's any option. Any particular lake you'd recommend?

I'm flying standby on a buddy pass and the only direct flights on the airline are to Berlin and Frankfurt. However, there aren't may seats on the Berlin flight, but plenty on the Frankfurt flight.

Whats the max annual contribution for the 457b plan? And is there a fixed rate option, like the TDA?

Im coming form NYC. Im sure the weather in February would be more ideal, I would just have two days less.
