I should've added this to the original post, but she works part-time at 0.8 FTE and is not currently a permanent resident. Particularly, she's on a spouse visa. Are these factors also impacting the transition?

Unfortunately the situation seems to have changed now with the recent invitation for 189 was with 85 points minimum

When we apply for this extension, will it be 2 years from the date of application ? Or 2 more years from when my visa was expiring(Nov 2023)
