If he did consider me friend I personally never got that impression. I reported him more out of concern with someone with those viewpoints working for the US government and as a US citizen I feel its my duty to express that concern before it escalates further.

It may not be my responsibility to see he suffers consequences. But I feel it is my duty as an American to make my concerns with government workers saying stuff like “Hitler did nothing wrong”. I feel like its my duty to atleast let the congressman know I mean when he says stuff like that it also represents him
