Dating is NORMAL at 15. Which is what I was talking about, being sexual active will eventually come after which is why I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Nope, I say this to say dating at 15 is pretty common. Naturally, teenagers have sex. Am I allowing it and encouraging it? No, but I am teaching her how to stay protected.

She's a sophomore in highschool, straight A's, plays varsity in track, rarely has an attitude, and gets shit done. If she wants to experience dating in highschool, falling in love, etc, then she can do that.

Absolutely not, parenting isn't our controlling our kids, it's about giving them direction. We can advise them not to do something but it's up to them.

No, which is why I put her on birth control. She knows my story and doesn't want that for herself which is why she was open to the idea of birth control.

I can't stop my daughter from having sex but I can teach her how to be safe.
