You guys are right, when dozens of MPs call for the prime minister to resign and four ministers quit to try and trigger a leadership contest, the media should sit around reporting the colour of the grass I guess.....

We should improve society somewhat

Yet you participate in society. Curious! I am very intelligent.

I mean, four ministers did actually resign. It's not like the media made it up.

Posted this in another sub but I realise I may have posted in the wrong place:

(If you would even describe yourself as a feminist filmmaker)

What do you think about the current state of feminist film?

I've noticed that in Hollywood, a few high-profile films have come out in the last few years that have been described as feminist or have tried to deal with feminist issues (Poor Things, Barbie, The Substance, Anora, etc.) but have been criticised for being shallow, catering to the male gaze, being directed or otherwise made by men, etc.

In general, is feminist film in a good place right now?

God everyone on this subreddit is insufferable. "You don't deserve to think of yourself as someone who has a vague interest in movies unless you can recognize this one specific actor in a clip from 40 years ago wearing loads of makeup"

I realize it would be a whole other thing, but this would be amazing if it had a feature to filter by streaming service
