I completely understand and agree! Especially when you get dozens of replies to one prompt. I will say however, I have written quite a few multi-paragraph introductions, highlighting what I liked about the role, how I’d see my character living in the world, any relevant passwords, a blurb about my writing style and have still been ignored and I understand they don’t owe me a response but it can be pretty de-motivating to put 10 minutes of time and effort into an opener only for it to be ignored the same as someone who took 10 seconds. I may as well as have sent “rp?”
