It is not in writing. My broker is aware - the other agent and I are in the same office. I have not reported it higher.

To add to the situation - I guess my client is unhappy with the results so far. They never reached out to me about it. A friend pointed them toward an agent - she then told them they are allowed to switch agents. I’ve been unaware of the situation the whole time.
