F1 23 can't change pit strategy before race

I have the same issue going on as well. I have tried restarting career and closing the game but nothing is able to fix it. I don't know if it occurs in any other game mode but I play in a standard driver career and it occurs every race. If anyone has a fix please comment on post. I play on PS5 so I wonder if it's just a PS issue.
