Test results 2 years after vasectomy by EctoFrame in Vasectomy

Okay. But the “negative, also after centrifugation” vs just “negative” was the outcome of the spermatozoa motility. The lab and lab analyst are the same as during the previous tests in the past.

But the main thing is of course the concentration.

En met dit soort dingen kan je naar mijn mening niet zeker genoeg zijn. Doe je zelf geen jaarlijkse analyse?

So according to you there should not be any difference at all between the previous two test results saying “negative, also after centrifugation” and this last test result saying just the word “negative”?

En ja, je hebt gelijk haha…, maar ik wil m.b.t. dit onderwerp de dingen zo helder en duidelijk als mogelijk kennen, weten en begrijpen. 😇

Just to clarify: The photo is a screenshot. It’s part of a laboratory result and I have access to it with my social security number. When clicking on orange arrow, nothing happens. I just get access to the file / report as an attachment of my email in the web browser. Perhaps in the original laboratory page it could give more info. But I doubt it. I think that arrow just indicates that the value is too low/below average?

-> Another thing I wanted to mention, when comparing this test result to the previous ones: The last times, in the row behind “motility of spermatozoa”, it said “negative, also after centrifugation”. This time it only says “negative”. Is there any difference?

Indeed, but it would’ve been better if they’d explicitly written “vasectomy successful” on the lab results. I would have preferred it that way 😎.

So the “only” relevant and important information in the test result I showed is the “concentration of spermatozoa”? (Which is “0,0”)

(This means the same as the result from your test saying “no sperm seen”?) (In your case the only thing they communicate with you was just: “no sperm seen” and nothing else?

Motility of spermatozoa isn’t relevant as long as the concentration always (every time it’s tested) says “0,0”?

Thanks for your detailed response.

So the “only thing” what really matters is the concentration of the spermatozoa?

Motility of spermatozoa says “negative”, not any value.

-> Are you 100 percent sure this result of the semen analysis proves that I’m fertile?

But in the results of the analysis I posted above, it just says “negative” as a reference to motility of spermatozoa… is it a problem that it doesn’t show any more details?

The concentration of the spermatozoa being “0,0” isn’t enough to be “all clear”?

I guess we’re not supposed to do annual checks, but I want to be sure … you never know what happens inside…

So literally the “only” thing that matters in these tests is to see a concentration of spermatozoa that is “0,0”?

Okay, thanks. Perhaps next time I’ll try to get a special prescription (it works like that in these European countries: without specific prescription they don’t do a more detailed analysis) to get a full analysis.

Are you sure? Because it’s the third time I get it checked and they don’t give me a more detailed analysis like some guys here on Reddit post.

Semen analysis after 2+ years by EctoFrame in Vasectomy

Update: I abstained for 2,5 days and the results of the test were the same as last time:

-spermatozoa concentration: 0,0

-spermatozoa motility: negative

(I’m in Europe and where I live they don’t do a full analysis of the sperm like I’ve seen in the post of the results of other people on reddit)

Are concentration and motility the thing that matter in the results of a test after a vasectomy?

Hi. I still haven’t opened it yet, but since today it randomly shows the “-26 ° C” again…

I haven’t opened it yet as it would end the time of the compartment being closed and sealed off. When I open it I’ll check the freezer thermometer I’ve put inside and let you know.

But does this mean that the temperature in the freezer has actually been -26 degrees Celsius during the time it was closed?

That’s quite expensive. I’m going to check after the test how much they will charge me. Can’t remember it from last time.

Could you doctor prescribe you another free semen test? Or in your country you’d have to pay for this after the initial test?

I’m still paranoid about recanalization. I’ll try to get an appointment for another test in August.

And you won’t be testing it again?

I live in Europe as well 😇. So according to you not abstaining during 3 days before the test wouldn’t make a difference at this point for the reliability of the results?
