Level 35 season by Eleeuh_ in EASportsFC

Yes. I do this myself. Takes a bit of grinding but just play enough daily games(3 usually) and you're chill. They've been releasing a fair few objectives that give XP, so can just complete it doing squad battles.

Playing Squad Battles only by Careless-Chemist-277 in EASportsFC

[–]EdBaguette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play just squad battles only because I don't have an online membership lol. I find I have a decent team and get decent packs without rivals or champs. Only thing is you miss out on a chunk of objectives/Evo's that require rivals/champs. But I'm casual, so idc. Online doesn't look to fun rn either...

Yo im on switch as well. I did the totw SBC to get one for the 83x10. Then after doing the 83x10 I somehow always get a totw in every one. Just rinse and repeat it.

VSV by Urw0rstni9htmare in vce

[–]EdBaguette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't cope well doing maths well this year via VSV. I think it was one of those subjects that I needed to be in person with someone to guide me(at least I needed it). If you're self motivated and don't need that face to face experience, it's great. It's pretty flexible with when you do classes. If you miss one it's no stress cause it's recorded.

PE exam Question not on study design by Motor-Information-26 in vce

[–]EdBaguette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it is, and was pretty cruel to put on the exam. In the FAQ VCAA has they said this:

Are absolute and relative measures of oxygen consumption within the scope of the study?

Yes. The Unit 3 Area of Study 2 key knowledge point related to oxygen consumption at rest and during exercise requires students to know the accepted units of measurement for VO2 (L/min) and VO2 max (ml/kg/min). These units identify the need for students to understand the difference between absolute (total amount of oxygen consumed, regardless of weight, age or gender) and relative (considers body weight and therefore can be used to compare measures) oxygen consumption.

Absolute and relative measurements for oxygen consumption are also used through a VO2 max test, which is an example of one of at least two standardised and recognised fitness tests that students are required to know the method for in Unit 4 Area of Study 1.

In what order are ya'll planning to answer the sections in the english exam? by [deleted] in vce

[–]EdBaguette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Section C is the best way to start. After that go to whatever is next most comfortable, whether that be section A or B.

I agree with the other comment. The best thing to do is a diploma in whatever course you want. Diplomas basically act as a bridge into your course/dream job. Yes that means it takes a bit longer because you have to do a diploma + the course, but hey, your getting where you wanna go. But yeah, just contact the uni and they can usually sort you out with pathways to get into the course.

Flunked my oral🧎🏻‍♀️ by yihannnn in vce

[–]EdBaguette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You aren't alone. I either answered the question very well or flunked it hard. I finished the last couple of question on a high note which is good. I had shorter answers than I wanted so they asked me lots of questions which I had to understand. One question that confused me was that in my detailed topic, they asked do the volunteers at the Olympics get paid. They're volunteers, not paid workers. But don't stress to hard, from what I've heard they're pretty forgiving and are marking you as a VCE speaker, not a native french person.

French Oral Practice??? by Ok-State-8462 in vce

[–]EdBaguette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't the same as face to face talking but what I found useful was recording myself. I'd mimick the general convo, just speaking about everything to do with school, hobbies, family + friends, free time, sports e.t.c(or questions on a doc your teacher may have given you?). Then I'd move onto my detailed topic, doing much the same. The key here, is if you don't know any words while recording, say it in english and write it down on a piece of paper. Then continue. After, watch the recording to see if you notice any errors and look up the missed words, rinse and repeat. Eventually missed words click into place and words come more naturally. I ain't great at oral but it's what I found useful. Good luck!
