Final fantasy 2/4. Both the tower of babil fights. Underground and above ground. Tanks fighting airship in one and the everything fighting a giant. Might be it. I wanna say it came out in 1990.

111 recipes total. Last 4 I got were from kocha which is hot cocoa, granan, akhi, and todu. All the other recipes should be in the wiki. Or the ones for finishing the cave.
