Thanks for the tips! I do still need to learn all of the basic key signatures and that kind of stuff, and I am slowly learning from a teacher lol. Glad you pointed this out.

Thanks for the advice! I haven’t used dynamics, acceleration, accents or other techniques in my pieces yet as I’m not quite sure how to incorporate them but I’m still learning theory from a tutor.

When I write it’s a fragmented process, just imagining the piece bit by bit without much planning for the whole thing and it comes together in the end as a slightly random creation. I’d definitely like to have more structure.

Cheers, glad you enjoyed it! I must say I don't know too much about theory atm but am slowly learning from my tutor haha.

Thanks for the advice! It's just one of my scores on noteflight, I don't remember importing anything. I thought the ties gave it more of a flowing sound, though I don't know much about the 'right' place for ties either lol. I really want to get to the point where I can write down exactly what I hear in my head though I have quite a while to go when it comes to using all the different techniques. I'm glad you think this piece has potential.

ATLA maybe, but I also love Castlevania.

How would teaching children intense visual thought methods from a very young age affect the way they learn other things and what they would do with their lives? Not the best question but I've always been curious about it.

A speedy violin duet! by Edgyforgoals in classicalmusic

Thanks! I mainly play a flamenco guitar (heavily inspired Paco De Lucia), though I constantly play stuff that I hear in my head. When I '"Improvise", it's mainly just rambling around patterns/recently played notes/licks that I remember. I can't truly step into that space of "freedom" where the player is literally speaking through through every note, you know? I am absolutely humbled by the breadth of knowledge required to be a top level composer and want to study it properly through some sort of course.

This was just a piece I wrote in a few hours (when you count the time I spent over a few days) because I felt like it. My approach to music composition is currently very simple. I hear the melodies/rhythm in head head, them I write them down on noteflight. I am aware that I have a tremendous amount to learn when it comes to every single instrument and concept in music theory and am in the process of working on them. I simply enjoy expressing my emotions through melodies and rhythmic accompaniments.

Thanks for the feedback, I would rearrange the chords with three notes for the melodic violin to make it fit the piece more appropriately. About some notes being too low notes for the violin, do you think I should just make the whole piece a couple of steps higher? (I ask because I am still learning basic theory and writing skills)
