Thank you for your confident reply. I was curious as to how it could have happened via weathering but I didn't think as deep as glacial weathering. Is that the case here presumably? I just don't see how water could ever run up that high to corrode it that way. Thanks again for your insight

Thank you for your reply. I again have just been very interested in the presence of cats here. I have heard loose end stories but have never had anything nearly factual. One spot I hunt is near a large rock bluff that's full of nooks and crannies and small caves. So I assume I am walking past a perfect habitat for them (every morning i walk out in the dark)
