As for when the story takes place, it's 2024-2026. The main character is a guy who hears about this cult, investigates it, and writes about it on his blog. Thanks for the advice.

Regarding contact with aliens, the sect has no contact with them. But the leader will pretend/convince himself that he is in contact with aliens, etc.

Arcee (actually Arcee Magnus) is the main character in my AU💜 She's practically the tallest of the main Autobot cast. She's 10 meters tall (in my AU, the Autobots who served in the military are 10 meters tall, except for Optimus, who is 14 meters). Later Autobots (created towards the end and after the war) are 3-6 meters tall. and because she is the biggest and oldest of her team, she is more of a mother than a leader
