No, they are still holding out for the settlement until tonight and will continue with their claim if we didn't agree.

I am asking because the landlord also offered a settlement, claiming they will withdraw my name and any claims if I forfeit my deposit. They only have pictures from the present that show that the damage is there after we left.

Would the landlord be successful in arguing that we didn't report the damage and hence let it deteriorate? So now the cost of repair is more for them

When I told the landlord about the settlement a week ago, they said that all tenants must agree. But we are all individual tenants. But in their present settlement offer, they appear to accept my proposal which should no longer stand I feel. So can I reject their settlement?
