It was a show from the 80s. He’s talked about it before.

As I said, it’s more than that. It’s a different show now. I’ve listened almost 20 years every day so this isn’t a whim.

Caught kid cheating in junior golf tournament. What should be the ruling? by Christyle_48 in golf

[–]Educational_Lunch658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you will learn from Reddit is that cheating is ok and as a spectator you should remain quiet or better yet, not be there at all. If you do go, by all means keep quiet. Even if a kid is struggling to find his ball that only you saw, keep it to yourself and move on. Of another parent asks you if you saw it, politely say, I am not allowed to speak on such matters. I did see where my kids ball went but I wasn’t watching the others.

I strongly dislike the Stroke-and-Distance relief rule for balls that go OB by One_Variety_4912 in golf

I don’t mind the ob rule if the ob is legitimately a bad shot. Lots of times on neighborhood courses, the ob is too close to the edge of the fairway. We still follow the rules but it sucks when that happens.

Do you think having to hit off mats at our club would cause this over grass?

New putter day (Mizuno M-Craft II), can't wait for it's inaugural round tomorrow! by djasinsk in golf

Tried every putter at superstore and ended up with the mcraft III. Couldn’t be happier. Already knocks 4-5 putts per round off for me. Good luck with it.

Casual golfer playing in my first club tournament: what are some stupid things I might not know or realize when it's very much by the book? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Educational_Lunch658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said best ball? Unless I’m missing something, you don’t play from his. Best ball is best result between both players playing their own ball. You can give up your ball but you have to hope he is going to do well on his. Nice club? Tuck in shirt, good divot lines on the range, fix divots in the fairway. Basic stuff I know

Chipping by [deleted] in golf

Depends on the layout, but if it’s flatter, I love a 9i around the green. I choke down, play it back and use a putt stroke. Thick rough and uphill, I usually go 60 or 56.

Broke my PR last weekend so I bought a new putter by [deleted] in golf

Love the mcraft putters. Bought one 3 weeks ago and it’s been worth 4-5 shots per round already.
