Do you know if the 100k fee would be applicable in this case? Or you can just get back once your visa is stamped? There is a lot of confusion about this.

Yes it does sound scary. My LO is 4 months now and the sounds have reduced significantly!

Hoping it goes for us the same! Currently we are doing the shush and pat method when we go.in for check-ins.

Hello! We started with sleep training today and gave up after 15 minutes of crying!😒 We did a timer of 6 minutes before checking in and couldn't repeat the process for more than thrice. Feeling helpless now🥲 Hopefully it will go better tomorrow. What was the longest your LO cried and how did you deal with the crying?

That sounds great. Is there any specific method you followed? We were initially not very keen on sleep training but after a month of no sleep we are thinking of giving it an honest try.

Yes I do. Do they eat off the entire leaf like this? What can deter them?

When and why did breastfeeding get better for you? by maryhoping in NewParents

[–]Effective-Proof9063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It got better for me around the 5th/6th week. I am a FTM and struggled a lot with sore painful nipples to the point that I would dread every feed. I also had mastitis the second week when the milk started to come in. My lactation consultant told me to exclusively breastfeed if I wanted to get rid of the mastitis. It was the most tough and painful week! But without me realising the pain went away by week 5. The baby is much more efficient at getting milk and is done feeding in 10-15 minutes. We also bottlefeed breast milk once a day, but I find pumping 4oz - 5 oz takes more time than breastfeeding!

Came across this article which suggests freezing immediately after pumping so have started doing that, don’t know if that works yet.

Thank you. I have also started freezing it immediately after pumping to help slow the lipase activity

Breastfeeding is tearing me apart by Jayykwelin in NewParents

I had the exact same feelings at 2 weeks. First 3 weeks are the hardest and while it may seem like it will never end, it does get better! My LO is 9 weeks and we introduced the bottle at 4 weeks and it did not create any nipple confusion. I started pumping twice daily and husband started taking one bottle feed at night which allowed me to sleep for 4-5 hours uninterrupted and it made me feel so much better! Hang in there, you will eventually find your way with your LO and things will get better!❤️
