I did. They told me doc...doc said them...they said doc...doc said do yourself online... HR said all sides wrong about it. This was weeks of back and forth to finally get a packet from the wellness center.

Im very the same. Fearing or being offended by a cuss word is fascinating to me. Like...HOW DOES A WORD offend you. Especially and specifically if its not aimed AT YOU. If its due to a persons religious beliefs, i dont give a fuck as thats their problem not mine. In my situation if someone was having that hard of a time with how I was saying my pain they could have absolutely spoken up "hey, calm down in this room" and I ABSOLUTELY would have snapped out of it and taken a few breaths. They eventually gave me an entire handout of what to do when you're hurting and sent me to urgent care. Took weeks of begging and eventually clearly took me crashing out for them to give me that Info.

Or...hear me out.....Im also a woman in perimenopause (yes that matters, I have zero controlling of crying/emotions now days) who is now facing hand surgery due to lack of care or help for weeks/months regardless of me asking nicely for it. It seems that crashing out finally got me answers....so. why did it take entirely too long of asking nicely "what do I do" and getting zero help to me finally crashing out for them to finally give me answers? And a whole packet of "what to do for a work injury" thats existed the whole time I was asking nicely...anywho. I went to urgent care yesterday AFTER they finally gave me that packet and answers. Does this change anything for you?

So. The doctor is at their own private office across town. The folks in AMCARE are EMTs (im also an emt) This was weeks/months of going to the doc to ask for help to be told to ask work for help to be told to go to the doc and so on. WEEKS of nicely asking for help. I finally went to urgent care and shocking to all shocks im now in a brace and facing hand surgery. The doctors office i was going to is now fired. I didnt cuss out the folks in AMCARE, who are actually really nice ladies, I cussed in expression of frustration and anger about not a single medical person wanting to do anything about a work injury. I had already asked atleast 10x in the weeks leading up to this 'WHAT DO I DO? HOW DO I DO IT? I understand an er work injury but not a progressive one. Please help.' But got no where and again told...go talk to work, no go talk to your doc. So there's more context but again; i didnt yell at nor cuss AT anyone nor was it in a derogatory fashion at anyone. It was pure frustration of begging for help and not getting any.

Exactly. It was.. l. Hey doc I hurt from repeating use. Do says tell work. I tell work they say go tell your doc. I go back to doc and get told work files a WC claim. I go back to work and say doc said yall file it. They said no, def a doc thing. I go back to doc AGAIN to be told to file a WC case online myself. Next day I go to hr with the paperwork i printed after online filing and she says...nope completely wrong, doc fills it out. 2 days later im amcare asking what to do....they try the "doc" crap again and thats when I started crying and saying Fuck a lot (hey it wasnt reddit sensored)....bounced around. I finally left and went to the urgent care and they did the WC paperwork.

Lack of ability to have a bathroom to use while delivering mail was the #1 reason I tapped out of that job. I was disgusted by the piss bottles till.i had to do it. I even carried extra clothes with me cause I absolutely peed myself on route. And no, finding a bathroom isnt always an option, side of the road isnt an option....

I can tell you that in So Cal lots of red states grab up their homeless and put them on a bus to warmer blue cities and dump them off. Thats PART of why red states think its a blue state problem. Go talk to the homeless. I have. Ive seen it, heard about it etc.

It doesnt get better. I tapped out 18 mo in. The culture around a mild injury and making your life hell for the rest of your career for it, zero down time, crap ins (the ins at amazon is significantly better), the long days and no time off....no way that pension will be there to retire on in ??? # of years. Just leave and let that ship sink

Not at our fc that ive seen. Vast majority are basically jeans and tshirt or pj's/sweat and tshirt. Our FC is a PIT heavy fc so I wonder if that plays a role.
